The time is now to prepare for career opportunities that will follow a recovery from COVID-19, and City Colleges is making it even simpler to access a quality, affordable post-secondary education through new course bundles.

Students who enroll in a bundle of City Colleges credit classes and stay enrolled in at least 6 credit hours through the end of the 12-week session will receive a $400 grant to help them continue their education.

The available 12-week class bundles are as follows:

Starter Bundle (Take at least 2 credit classes as described below)
1. Any English class and any math class.

Starter Plus (Take at least 3 credit classes as described below)
1. Health Starter Bundle: Any English class, any math class, and any biology class
2. Business Starter Bundle: Any English class, any math class, and any business class
3. Liberal Arts Bundle: Any English class, any math class, and any general education class

“From grants to scholarships and from virtual services to laptops on loan, we are committed to ensuring that City Colleges students are supported in reaching their academic and career goals this fall,” said Chancellor Juan Salgado.

To protect the health and safety of students, faculty and staff, most City Colleges credit classes will be offered remotely or online this fall. All adult education (high school equivalency – GED/ HiSET and English as a Second Language (ESL)) classes will be offered via distance learning.

A limited number of credit classes are offered either fully face-to-face or as blended face-to-face and remote classes, when hands on experiences are essential to meeting course requirements or when student learning and retention can benefit. In all cases, face-to-face instruction is undertaken only as public health conditions allow and with social distancing in place. For an update on our safety plans, read here.

Student services are also delivered remotely. All seven colleges will be open as study centers for students with proper protections in place.
