For seven years, the Star Scholarship has helped Chicago students seamlessly transition from high school to one of our seven City Colleges of Chicago, creating an affordable pathway for students to continue their education.

This year, we’re excited to share there’s been a new development within the program—21 Star Scholars were recently awarded the “Star Plus” scholarship to pursue their bachelor’s degree at one of City Colleges’ four-year transfer partners.
