most engaged campus

The results are in, and five City Colleges of Chicago have been named to ALL IN’s inaugural list of the Most Engaged Campuses for College Student Voting.

Harold Washington College, Truman College, Kennedy-King College, Olive-Harvey College, and Wright College received the recognition as the result of their work to develop and submit a 2022 democratic engagement action plan to ALL IN, among other efforts. Throughout election season, the colleges hosted voter registration tables on campus, shared content on social media, and more, with the goal of increasing student voter turnout.

The same five colleges were also recognized on Washington Monthly’s list of “Best Colleges for Student Voting” based on our “repeated commitment to increasing student voting.” Earlier this year, City Colleges joined more than 950 other colleges and universities around the country by committing to the ALL IN Campus Democracy Challenge.

Congratulations to Harold Washington, Truman, Kennedy-King, Olive-Harvey, and Wright for the recognition and for their commitment to increasing civic engagement.
