City Colleges of Chicago and One Million Degrees (OMD) leaders, Chancellor Juan Salgado and OMD CEO Aneesh Sohoni along with Olive-Harvey College student Stephanie Meeks, speak with WBBM AM reporter Craig Dellimore about OMD’s major expansion that will increase college graduation rates and boost economic mobility for students.
“One Million Degrees has changed me completely in a way where I can get the support [I need] academically, financially, professionally and also with the Saturday sessions, it has changed my perspective on a lot of things,” said Olive-Harvey College student Stephanie Meeks. “With the support of my mentor and my coach, the program helps me understand that my education is worth striving for, worth pushing for…it helped me achieve what I wanted to do…”
