Nominate an Outstanding Faculty Member for the 2026 Provost Excellence in Teaching and Learning Award

City Colleges of Chicago prioritizes delivering superior student experience. That experience starts in the classroom, whether in-person or virtual. Faculty play a critical role in our students’ success. To recognize those contributions, the Provost Excellence in Teaching and Learning Award will identify and celebrate superior faculty practitioners. One recipient will be chosen from each of the seven City Colleges annually.

Award Details

  • This award is for City Colleges faculty members, including full-time and part-time credit faculty and adult educators. 
  • To nominate outstanding students or staff, submit a nomination for a Luminary Award (students and staff) or a Student Impact Award (staff only). 
  • One faculty member from each college will be selected as the 2026 award recipient  
  • Any current City Colleges student, faculty, or staff member is eligible to nominate a faculty member
